 have become addicted to:

Dooce... I love the new look of her website and her new daily photos. I just can't stop reading her blog.

Magnificent Bliss... I love that Kristin is once again updating her site often. I've really enjoyed her Camera Diaries section and I can't wait for the launch of her new site.

HGTV (Divine Design, Home to Go, Mission Organization (the show), and Design to Sell)... What a bonus, I just find out that Candice has an online column. I just can't get enough of HGTV.

I am finally (or temporarily) over:

Tetris... I haven't play in 4 days.

Fruit Smash... I haven't play in months.

eBay... I haven't bought anything in a very long time.

Panera's shortbread cookies... I haven't had one in 3 days.

Click here... as of last Tuesday this little secret is officially ours...

It is empty right now, so the furniture you see on the link belongs to the previous owner. Everything else, including the dock, belongs to us. Well,  the dock is definitely my husband's.

I took some photos, but as always I am running behind.

Thank you all for your good wishes!

Once again - I've been missing in action, but this time I have a very good excuse: our little secret is a done deal.

Check again in a few days, I have some photos that will reveal our little secret. I'll have them up on my corner soon.

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend, ours was good - we were busy from beginning to end.

-----------  ----------  ----------  ---------- ----------  ----------  ----------  ----------  ---------- Another month goes by...

Friday, September 3, 2004

Can you believe another month has gone by? What a busy summer and I can't hardly believe is gone. Just one more weekend of linen clothes and white shoes (I wonder who made those silly rules anyways). On the bright side, it is time to bring out those nice, warm and comfortable sweaters.

Ohh! how I wish I could stop time, so we could finish all the projects we've started this summer. We still have a few more weeks to go. Darren does most of the work and I do all the cleaning and organizing.

This weekend will be a little bit more quite and a little less exiting, there won't be any sailing adventures (although we were invited to another sailing trip, but we have to turn it down since we have so much to do at home), there won't be any Cirque Du Soleil Shows, instead we have more painting, sanding, the installation of our last toilet, our new medicine cabinet and so much more. I think that once our condo is ready, we will be ready to open our own home improvement service. What a summer! and What a weekend we have ahead of us.

Just last Saturday we went to see Varekai - another fabulous show from Cirque Du Soleil. We got pretty good seats, but a few weeks before the show I got an e-mail from the "Cirque Du Soleil Member Club" instructing us to get to the show early and stop by the club member's window. They were offering preferred seats normally reserved for the press and the producers. I could not believe it, we went from very good seats to the best possible seats in the house - yes, that will be 1st row. The girl at the window told me (as I asked her to see the seat numbers in disbelieve) "if I seat you any closer, you will be right on the stage". Those seats normally cost $200 dollar a piece, since they are sold thru their VIP packages. They were not only 1st row, but right on the middle of the stage 1st row - they were excellent (what a wonderful upgrade). The show was fantastic, I have never been disappointed with Cirque Du Soleil, this is my 5th show. During the performance, sometimes we had to look up for a little bit, and even though we had a sore neck at times, it was worth watching the performance just a few feet away from us, they were wonderful, their makeup, hair and costumes were just fantastic. What a treat! The Cirque Du Soleil Club member ROCKS!

Have a safe, relaxing and productive Labor Day Weekend!
